"The food was exceptional and the service very nice. My only concern was that two small pieces of lamp cost 20 euros."

"Excellent Roman dishes. More interesting that standard fare. Great wine options.further out of the city but well worth the trip. An easy bus ride to the area. The main wait staff was excellent."

"We were very lucky to have been seated at the “bar” spot right in front of the prep kitchen space. The owner greeted is and served us delicious clean natural wines all evening. The best al’amatriciana ive had in Rome hands down. The beef tripe dish is to die for, everything is extremely well made and very fair price for the quality. 10/10."

"The food was so so so delicious. We had lamb meatballs, chicken liver ragout pasta, and cabbage and potato gratin. The atmosphere was very welcoming, local spot, not many tourists, and a lovely staff. Their wine recommendation was also a perfect pairing with our food."

"Amazing local spot, their pastas were amazing (Amatriciana, alla Gricoa). Loved their tomato sauce, so rich and flavorful. Trip was done very well in red sauce. Solid service, nice selection of natural wines too."

"Wanted to come here since watching "Remarkable places to eat" a couple of years ago. Two of us dined for lunch while in Rome. Our appetisers and pasta dishes were very good and the Zabione desert tasted great, but the main dish of lamb was very disappointing. There was very little meat, it was mostly bone and fat. We left underwhelmed and disappointed considering the high price of our lunch."

"Hands down one of the best restaurants in Rome. It’s a bit off the beaten path which is great as you’re away from the tourist crowds (not that tourists are not welcome here!) and is a lot more peaceful. Website makes reservations quite accessible and you don’t have to stress about waiting in a queue for hours. The servers were great with excellent wine recommendations and were genuinely friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious and we would have easily come back for more if we were staying longer."

"Great food and great wine selection. One of the best carbonaras in Rome. Price is fair for what you get. The staff was very friendly, but a little bit disorganized (different waiters came to us asking for the same things). A strongly advisable place, only the service can be improved a little bit."
